Doctors have typically been seen as part of the most respected members of society, and with sensible reason. It takes years of coaching, constant grooming, and plenty of studying and practice to be a decent doctor. However, they’re still human, and humans are fallible. Mistakes are created every day, and whereas a number of them will be insignificant, others will utterly change lives. Suing doctors and medical specialists for negligence is one thing. Growing and rebuilding your life after negligence is a completely different subject altogether.
We have to trust our doctors and medical specialists with our lives, but that only covers our physical being. Spiritually and mentally we need to continue living after negligence and the effects of negligence. This is where therapy comes becomes necessary.
